About

Emily Dreskin is a versatile professional with a background spanning operations, communications, and public relations. Currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the University of Connecticut (expected 2027), she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Purdue University.

Most recently, Emily has taken on executive-level responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer for a healthcare leadership advisory firm, where she translates strategic vision into operational reality—building delivery frameworks, managing internal systems, and overseeing day-to-day business functions. Concurrently, she serves as Director of Public Relations for a separate firm, handling brand strategy, media relations, crisis management, and content creation.

Emily’s earlier experience includes process management at Genpact, administrative coordination at Bridgewater Associates, and a meaningful stint as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, where she developed automated solutions and supported volunteer engagement. She also spent several years at the National Confectioners Association, where she grew from Operations Coordinator to Membership Specialist—gaining experience in member services, event planning, database management, and even leading a Young Professionals Network.

Beyond her professional roles, Emily has shown a consistent interest in civic engagement and mentorship, from tutoring at-risk youth and ESL students to serving on a faculty search committee as an undergraduate representative. Her memberships in organizations like IWIRC and PRSA reflect an ongoing commitment to professional development and community involvement.
